Rutherford Civic Association Meeting Highlights

Thanks to all who came out last Wednesday evening for our annual Rutherford Civic Assoc. meeting.

Here are a few highlights:

We said thank you to Patsy Leininger for her years of service creating our bi-annual neighborhood directory, and also coordinating the notice signs that go up for meetings and events.  And thank you to Laurel Chinn who has volunteered to work on the directory, and Mary Rizek who will take over the signs position.  Also volunteering for open positions were Joe Galdo for Braddock District Council Rep., and Laurel Chinn and Heidi Garvis for a new community social planning position. Thanks for stepping up to serve our community!

We are looking for a special someone(s) to coordinate National Night Out at the pool in August. If you enjoy planning a party, this may be the position for you! Contact julia.wilson@yahoo.com if you are interested.

There were many helpful updates about activities in the community, and a great guest speaker.

To learn what else was covered at the meeting, see the attached minutes.
